2026 Show & Shine Food Vendor Application

All applications to participate as a Food Vendor at the Okotoks Show & Shine must be submitted on or before April 30.
Late applications will only be considered if space remains.

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Only vendors who are approved to participate will receive a confirmation email.

Vendor Space

Vendor space will be allocated based on the operational needs of each vendor.
If additional space is required (e.g., for vehicle parking or equipment), this must be clearly indicated on the application form and will be granted at the discretion of the Event Organizers.

A photo of your full setup and menu (with prices)  must be included with your application.

Pricing

The cost of each food vendor space is $250.

All Food Vendors must fully comply with the guidelines, terms, and conditions outlined in this document. Failure to adhere to these requirements will result in immediate termination of the contract and cancellation of vendor privileges without refund.

Set‑Up & Take‑Down Times

• Vendors must be on‑site and operating for the full event hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Set‑up time is 5:00 AM – 7:00 AM on event day.
• Due to road closures, no vendor vehicles will be permitted to enter after 7:00 AM.
• Take‑down begins at 4:00 PM, and vendors must remain fully set up until that time.
• Once the road reopens, vendors may bring vehicles to their locations for loading.

Your assigned vendor location, event map, and numbered vendor card will be emailed to you prior to the event. All locations will be at the discretion of event planners.

Generators must not exceed 70 dB.

Not Permitted

• NO Cotton Candy or Candy Apples — these items may not be sold or given away.
• Generators exceeding 70 dB are not allowed.

Alberta Health Regulations

All Food Vendors must comply with Alberta Health Services regulations for public food service.

You must submit:

• A copy of your Food Handling Certificate
• The AHS Special Event Food Vendor Notification Form

Town of Okotoks Requirements

All Food Vendors must complete a fire inspection prior to the event.
Please contact Okotoks Fire Services at 403‑938‑4066 to arrange your inspection.

Signage

Vendors are encouraged to display clear, professional signage identifying their business.

Event Organizers reserve the right to request removal of any signage deemed inappropriate or unprofessional.
Signage must not obstruct or interfere with neighboring vendors.
